If you purchased an item on or after September 1 2022:

Due to the announcement of the business closing October 31 2022, all items are final sale. No refunds, exchanges or store credits will be available. We are also not able to facilitate any warranty service after September 1, 2022.

Gift cards purchased anytime have always been non-refundable and have no cash value.

If you purchased an item before September 1 2022:

Town Moto wants you to be satisfied with your purchase! We are not robots but a small team of human beings trying to provide items to make your day better! If something didn't work out, we are just as disappointed as you! Before making your purchase, please consider the following:

Town Moto is unable to offer refunds or exchanges to our customers outside of Canada and the USA.

Items purchased online cannot be returned or exchanged at our physical store.

The item you wish to return or exchange must be in new condition with all original tags and packaging intact and be accompanied by a valid receipt.

The item must have been purchased or received within the last 14 days.

The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with returning their order, and the original shipping will not be refunded.

In order to qualify for an online return you must first get an authorization from us via email. Contact and lets us know the issue.

Town Moto reserves the right to deny refunds or exchanges on items that have not been authorized to be sent back, that show signs of use or that do not meet the criteria as outlined on this page.


What items are Final Sale?

Town Moto does not offer exchanges, credits or refunds on the following items: Helmets (See Below), Sale or Promotional items, Items purchased with a Discount Code, Online Exclusives, Gift Cards, Chemicals or Cleaning Products, Special Orders, Intimates or Socks.

Helmet Safety Policy:

Please note all helmets are Final Sale. Motorcycle helmets are sold as safety items at Town Moto, which for us and in our experience, unfortunately, means life or death. Being in business and a part of the riding community as long as we have, means we lose people every year to accidents. A helmet can only take an impact to 100% of its ability once, they also start to conform to the unique shape of each head when being worn. When a helmet leaves our sight we can no longer guarantee a promise that we have done everything in our power to uphold the product's original integrity which is why all helmet purchases are Final Sale
In an effort to help our customers we offer size charts straight from the manufacturer and (virtual or in-person) sizing assistance to ensure they get the best-fitted helmets possible. There are many places to buy tried-on, slightly used, returned helmets, but we pride ourselves on offering the community a safer & more guaranteed alternative. For these reasons, we feel it is imperative to uphold a very strong policy. If you need help sizing a helmet, please get in touch. 

What is New Condition?

Riding Gear & Apparel: Any merchandise that shows signs of wear, is dirty, or which has been worn while on the bike is considered used and cannot be returned. We encourage you to walk on your carpet if trying boots or to try on your items indoors only.

Vehicle Parts: Any part which has been installed or shows signs of attempting to be installed on a vehicle is non-returnable.

Making an Exchange:

If you would like to exchange what you ordered for a different size the fastest way is to request a return authorization via email. Once authorized, place another order and ship us back your incorrectly sized item. Your item will be inspected on return and a refund will be issued to your original form of payment. Some refunds might take 5-7 business days for the refund to arrive in your account.

2. Ship the item back to us at the address provided below. Please mark your order number and include your name as the shipper on the package. Ensuring the item arrives safely back to us is the buyer's responsibility and should be shipped appropriately with tracking and insurance.

3. Once we receive your item we will notify you of your refund by email.

US customers please note: All returns must be shipped with USPS and marked as a return on customs sheet to avoid brokerage fees. Any brokerage or duties paid on your shipment will be subtracted from your return. Any orders shipped to us with UPS, FEDEX or other courier other than the United States Postal service will require an additional $50 CAD from you to ship an exchange. If you are doing a return the $50 CAD will be deducted from your return amount.

In-Store / Local Pick Up Policy

Town Moto will contact a customer 3 times when "Local Pick Up" items are ready at the contact information provided. If purchased items are not picked up within 60 days of the first notice, the purchase will be taken off hold & the entire deposit will be forfeited. Town Moto does not offer refunds on purchases left for over 60 days. Items selected for in-store pickup are subject to our return policy. Regarding helmets: We often make exceptions to our final sale policy with helmets purchased online for in-store pickup when the item does not leave the premises. Please let us know if you have any questions regarding pre-ordering a helmet for local pick up.

Motorcycling is an inherently dangerous activity, which may result in personal injury and/or death. While all motorcycle riders should wear appropriate protective equipment, no product can offer complete protection from injury, death or damage to individuals and property.

Town Moto makes no guarantees or representations regarding the extent to which products protect individuals or property from injury, death or damage.

Installation of any item sold by Town Moto Inc. must be carried out by a Certified Motorcycle Technician. This includes luggage items which may require additional mounting brackets.

All warranties are provided by and serviced through the manufacturer. *BATTERY warranty claims must be processed within 7 days of purchase.
