We are super stoked this month to have Honda Canada's custom Rebel 500 in the window.

The bike started life as a completely stock Honda Rebel 500 and then it was given to Rob Chappell at Origin8or Cycles to work his magic on it. For the most part Rob was given complete creative control, the only things he had to keep intact were the frame and the ABS system. Those two restrictions are obvious, as a Rebel owner can see the changes that Rob made and consider doing them on their own. The exhaust for example, is an aftermarket accessory you can buy from Hindle for your Rebel.

The stand out modification to the Rebel is the new spoked 21" front wheel and the one-off springer front end. Both took a ton of time and effort to make work, but the look was definitely worth it, as they really set the bike off.

We also really love the paint work, up close it looks amazing! Rob said that he  wanted a 70’s vibe, so he decided to have the bike sprayed with a House of Kolors silver flake and candy blue. The paint was also used to break up the body work with some sharp lines to contrast against the bikes original curves.

There are tons of interesting details on the Origin8or Honda Rebel 500 so come by the shop and have a look at all of them this October.
