2001 Kawasaki W650 - February 2020 Town Moto Window Bike

You may have seen this 2001 Kawasaki W650 around Town Moto and in our photos for awhile. It is my wife Alex's bike. She's had it for around 5 or 6 years and we customized it along the way. The tank got painted by John Connery at Connery's Custom Paint. The style was ripped off from a MX inspired W650 that Kawasaki put together when the W first came out. It's a got some goodies from Japan with the Daytona stainless mini rear fender kit and Posh W1 seat. The headlight has been replaced with a 5 3/4" under mount unit and cleaner black turn-signals disappear against the black of the frame. We deleted the air injection with European OEM covers that did not require it which made the bike run a lot cooler and less lean. The handlebars were swapped out for some MX bars and we ran the wiring for the controls through them to help clean up the front end.
