TM Ride-In & Poker Run
This Sunday October 18th is our last Ride-In of the season! As a way to keep things interesting we've organized a Poker Run around the city to keep you busy before our 3pm Ride-In. All the details on the are below as well as a Google map with all the locations so you can plan your route ahead of time!
WHAT IS A POKER RUN?
A poker run is an organized event where, in this case, you'll ride your motorcycles to visit 11 different set checkpoints around the city, collecting a playing card at each one. The object being to play your best poker hand using the cards you've collected throughout the run.
HOW DOES THE TOWN MOTO POKER RUN WORK?
All Poker Runs are done a little differently, but here's how our Sunday Poker Run will go:
Start Time: Our doors will be open at 11:30am - so feel free to swing by the shop (132 Ossington Ave.) anytime after 11:30 to pick up your Poker Run Map, and first Playing card from us. We'll be around to answer any questions you have then. ** NOTE: The first 19 riders to pick up their Poker Run Maps will get a free Beanie from Brixton & Hand warmer set from Poler Stuff.
Playing Card Collection: At each location / checkpoint you will collect one playing card in a sealed envelope. Please note there will only be 52 cards at each location and once they run out, that's that! All envelopes must stay sealed until you open then in front of the poker dealer at Town Moto: we do this to keep things fair, and so you won't know what card you have & make trades cards with other competitors. If the cards aren't sealed, you won't be usable in your hand!
Location / Checkpoint Challenges: Some locations may have challenges you can choose to participate in where you can win another a second playing card by completing a task. Collect as many cards as you can between 12pm to 3pm and head back to Town Moto.
Opening / Playing your cards: Bring all your sealed cards back to our dealer at Town Moto who will open your cards, determine your best hand and rank you against other players best hands.
Winners will be announced at 4:30 and must be in attendance to claim their prize: Best two hands win first pick of all the prizes we've got on raffle for Sunday, including a Biltwell Gringo helmet, shield and gloves, a Roland Sands leather Bristol jacket, a Deus Ex Machina black suede jacket & Deus book, and more great prize packs from North Standard Trading Post, Stance Socks & Federal Moto. Keep an eye out on our Instagram account for snaps of the prizes we'll be raffling.
