Yamaha YZ 450 Framer | August 2013 Window Bike

Yamaha YZ450 Framer

Our window bike for August is purpose built flat track bike owned by our friend Mike Mason of Queen West Antique Centre. He picked the bike up off of Mike Labelle and rode it mostly in Paris in 2012. The Yamaha YZ 450 Motor was modified by Woody Kyle Racing in Illinois and it's mounted into a J & M nickel plated frame. Some other trick parts include Weiss adjustable triple clamps, Jupiter Quick Change Wheels and Gran Prix Speedworks carbon fiber fuel tank.

In the back it's got a Penske rear shock and F4 forks upfront and it's rolling on Maxxis DTR-1 tires CD3 (soft compound). A Jemco Exhaust, Saddlemen Seat and Vortex Handlebars round out this racer.

Mike says it's a great, fast bike but he's sticking with his DTX as this is a little small for him. He's looking to sell so if you're interested into messing around on the dirt track this would be a great bike to check out.
