1967 Benelli 350 - January 2018 Window Bike
This month we were lucky to have a beautiful 1968 Benelli 350 in the window. The bike belongs to our good friend Nicholas, and it is the second one of his bikes we have been privileged enough to borrow.
Prior to Nicholas' ownership, the little Benelli was rebuilt by Steve Canellos, a local vintage bike builder and collector. The bike was found at the Mid-Ohio Vintage swap meet and was all original and badly in need of a complete rebuild.
By way of background, the bike started it’s day in life as a Montgomery Ward rebadged Benelli built “Riverside”. It’s a 350cc air cooled four stroke overhead valve single cylinder with a four speed transmission. Telescopic front fork and dual rear shocks, drum brakes back and front and total weight of 231 lbs.
After it's restoration, in which everything on the bike was either rebuilt or renewed, the bike is truly a mint example. Check out the photos and video for yourself!
